Hi,

I’m Martin a physicist trapped in an engineer’s body. Sounds bad, but it’s not – I studied physics for several years ending in a Ph.D. thesis about residual stress prediction in high strength steel (after introducing heat non-uniformly). It was a nice cross-over between structural physics, metallurgy and numeric simulations. Although loving physics I also love making stuff. Professionally, mostly large structures as I am spending my time in oil & gas industry as a product engineer. Privately, some kind of simple electronics and even some cut & past coding. Hopefully I’m able to document some of my hobby tech projects on this page.
